Contributor's Corner: Movie Theater or VOD?

During the dawn of Viddy Well, we asked each interested contributor to fill out the same questionnaire. The questions spanned from grave to goofy, but the replies were nearly always unexpected. This week we'll take a look at the following question: 

Movie theater or VOD?

Brenda Torres: 

I'm a mix of both. There are some movies that I want to see in theaters because I'm excited about them and want to see them as soon as possible. If I'm mildly interested in a movie and can wait, I'd rather stream it and save some $$$.

Blake Haughton: 

Theater, hands down. I can't beat the experience of sitting in front of that huge screen with great sound to back it up. VOD is nice, but can lead to more distractions, I think.

Anthony Cleveland: 

VOD. Beer, pause button, and no one around. That will always beat the theater for me.

Aaron Haughton:

I go both ways, but if I'm going to worship the cinema gods, I wanna do it in its proper environment. I've got an Alamo Drafthouse nearby, so the normal theater grievances don't really apply. See below video for hilarious context:
