Hasta La Vista, Baby
Inspired by Terminator 2: Judgement Day
This short margarita offers up a bit of heat (to match the film's explosions) and a lot of power. It won't kill you, but it will have you feeling the gravity of film's iconic one-liner.
Here's what you'll need:
- Smooth blanco tequila
- White (clear) rum
- Jalapeño lime margarita mix
- Jalapeño brine
- Lime
- Ice
- Strainer
Prep:
- 1. Combine 2 shots of tequila and 1 shot of clear rum into a short glass filled with ice.
- 2. Add 2 shots of jalapeño lime margarita mix and 1 shot (or a half shot, if you's a bitch) of jalapeño brine into the glass.
- 3. Slice a lime in half (or quarters, if you don't do sour) and squeeze it into the mixture.
- 4. Stir generously and strain the ice with the strainer so only the liquid remains.
- 5. Slam the contents of the glass down your gullet with the stoicism of a T-800 Model 101 Terminator, and prepare to say, "Hasta la vista, baby!"
