Contributor's Corner: What's The Worst Film You've Ever Seen?
During the dawn of Viddy Well, we asked each interested contributor to fill out the same questionnaire. The questions spanned from grave to goofy, but the replies were nearly always unexpected. This week we'll take a look at the following question:
What’s the worst film you ever saw?
Blake Haughton:
Double Down by Neil Breen. The first five minutes are the worst writing I've ever seen in a film. It's gloriously awful. I can't accurately do it justice, it just has to be experienced.
Julia Stecyk:
Any of the newer National Lampoon movies (anything post Van Wilder)...Zero acting talent and relatively no plot..and if there is one, it's super predictable.
Anthony Cleveland:
Day of the Dead 2: Contagium. This was right at the cusp when remakes and sequels were booming. It had no relation to Romero’s movies and the zombies talked. I’ve seen a lot of movies, but that one I can honestly point to and say, "You’re shit.”
Brenda Torres:
Bad Boy Bubby. Ain't nobody trying to watch incest!
Aaron Haughton:
Awhile back, I got really drunk and watched From Justin to Kelly because I lost a bet. The drinking wasn't conditional to the bet, just a necessity to endure and fulfill the terms of the bet. It was...just awful, horrid... A beach movie with no energy or enthusiasm, a wafer thing made-for-tv plot, and a cast of talentless performers. It wasn't even bad to the point that it's funny, just bad.
